Jets over Pampa 2008
The weather wasn't very good this year. The planes had to be covered many times while pilots and public had to get some shelter in the tent. In between the showers there was some good weather but also a strong wind, something the fast jets didn't have too much problems with. On Sunday, it was more of the same, the weather was maybe even a little bit worse.
Despite the bad weather there were a lot of visitors present. We counted around 2000 visitors over the whole weekend.
Over 100 pilots were at the field. Not all the planes were put on the field, again because of the weather. But the planes that were displayed were worth to watch.
On Sunday we enjoyed a few fly-by's of four F-16's from the Belgian Air Force. Our jury had the difficult task to find winners for the several trophies and for the N.V. Poly Color challenge trophy. They chose Werner Dietrich with his A-10 as this year's winner.
We want to thank all the pilots, the visitors and our people that made Jets over Pampa a success.

The list of trophies and pilot's top 5 is available on this page.
A jury made this list during the show sunday-afternoon while judging the planes and the aerobatics of the pilots.
